Home watches are not regulated by the state of Florida; therefore, it is important that your home watch is conducted by a fully licensed and qualified company that has the experience from performing thousands of home and mold inspections throughout the state of Florida.

A lot can happen to a home in a short few days while a home remains unoccupied for months on end. From experience, Able Home Inspections has saved our customers thousands of dollars by catching home issues early.

Some examples include:

  • Upstairs neighbor toilet leaking into unit below

  • Fruit fly infestation of food in fridge

  • Unlocked sliding glass pool door to prevent possible intrusion

  • Faulty pool equipment - saving the customer having to drain and refill pool water

Not every event can be immediately caught and prevented as it occurs, but just a few extra days to fix the issue can result in vast savings to the customer.

The home watch inspection includes visits twice a month by our trained professionals to ensure the safety of your home while unoccupied.

Inspection services include:

  • Activating all plumbing fixtures (sinks, toilets, showers, etc.) to prevent build-up

  • Water shut off to prevent flooding from pipe leaks/bursts

  • Visual inspection of the home’s interior and exterior for signs of damage or intrusion

  • Inspect Air Conditioner for functionality

  • Check garage and cars

  • Check for mail (mailbox only) and packages at front door
